What Ember Garden does

Ember Garden helps you create and track daily habits, routines, streaks, reminders, achievements, progress stats and Garden growth.

Apple Health access is optional. If you choose to connect Apple Health, Ember Garden can read your Step Count and Sleep Analysis to update walking and sleep habits.

Information stored on your device

Ember Garden may store the following information locally on your device:

• Your display name
• Your habits and goals
• Habit progress
• Streaks and completion history
• Garden level and XP
• Achievements
• Reminder preferences
• App settings

This information is used to make the app work and to show your progress.

Apple Health data

Ember Garden can optionally connect to Apple Health.

If you give permission, Ember Garden can read:

• Step Count
• Sleep Analysis

This is used only to update walking and sleep habits inside Ember Garden.

Ember Garden does not write data to Apple Health.

Ember Garden does not sell Apple Health data.

Ember Garden does not use Apple Health data for advertising or tracking.

You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and payments

Ember Garden offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

Ember Garden does not collect or store your payment card details.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Ember Garden may schedule local notifications on your device.

These reminders are used only to help you remember your habits.

You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Data sharing

Ember Garden does not sell your personal data.

Ember Garden does not use your data for third-party advertising.

Ember Garden does not require an account or login.

Most app data is stored locally on your device.

Third-party services

Ember Garden uses Apple services including:

• Apple Health, if you choose to connect it
• StoreKit for subscriptions and purchases
• Apple notification services for local reminders

These services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

Data retention

Data stored locally in Ember Garden remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the app data, or delete the app.

If you delete Ember Garden from your device, locally stored app data may be removed by iOS.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal data.

Because Ember Garden does not require an account and stores most information locally on your device, much of your data can be controlled directly by you in the app or by deleting the app.
